Program Overview

This program provides an opportunity to dedicate support for postdoctoral fellows. Fellows will be trained in cutting-edge technology as it applies to cancer research such as proteomics, nanotechnology and stem cell research. Each fellow will train under a senior mentor at the Division of Cancer Research at CDU. Fellows will select their mentor and project after joining the program. Possible research areas include but are not limited to (a) cancer drug resistance mechanisms, (b) transition from cancer cell to stem-like cell progression and (c) signal transduction that leads to tumorigenicity.
